The aims of the programme and how it supports children and schools

The programme aims to:

  • Fulfil the primary age 2020 RSE Statutory framework and is cited in the DFE guidance for teaching online safety in school.
  • Educate children to help prevent them becoming victims of crime themselves by exploring digital threats including online grooming, radicalisation, exploitation, bullying and more.
  • Support the identification of children who may be at risk of threats with help from the ‘Dot Minute’ feature, where children can request time with their teacher to discuss any worries or concerns.

It is great to have an age-appropriate resource to deliver, knowing that we are meeting the statutory requirements for relationships and sex education (RSE) and health education. The lessons have led to children participating in engaging and high-quality discussions with their teachers and peers. We have been pleased to see that the DotCom programme has enhanced children's understanding of how to stay safe. This has given children a voice and the confidence to share their own safeguarding concerns.

The 2Simple Ltd logo

2Simple has been making resources to support primary schools for 20 years. During that time we've won over 40 industry awards and 90% of UK primary schools have purchased resources from us. We were founded by a primary school teacher and about half of our staff are former primary school teachers.

I guess what we're trying to say is, we're a name you can trust.
