The leading EdTech trade show in the UK is back and we’ll be there! Bett 2022 is a free event that is taking place from 23rd to 25th March 2022 at London Excel. Each day in the run up to #BETT2022 we will be showcasing one of our products that you can find out more about at the show. You can find us on stand NE61 in the teaching and learning area.
What better place to start than with Purple Mash. Purple Mash is all about creativity, communication, and collaboration. It is your complete online solution for Primary Education, which is why thousands of schools use the package as an integrated resource to deliver teaching and learning in school from nursery to year 6.
At 2Simple we have been championing digital inclusion and cloud-based learning since 2010. That's over a decade of experience in running digital classrooms, managing homework, and supporting schools, teachers, and parents.
We are really looking forward to talking to customers at BETT, showcasing changes that we have made to the platform and finding out how Purple Mash has supported pupils and teachers over the last two years.
In line with the themes for BETT, you will be able to find out how Purple Mash enables you to embed digital skills across the curriculum. Our open-ended tools allow children’s creativity to flourish. Using Purple Mash they can create expressive multi-media stories, role play as an astronaut, create animated storybooks, become a DJ, and create their own busy beat, design multi-level games, make a Tudor house, or create a planet profile. The only limit is their imagination.
It is easy to reinforce core skills with a range of games that give children an engaging way to practice what they’ve learnt in maths and English. All mapped to the curriculum, captivating games support learning from SPAG to times tables and pupils can also use their own knowledge to create their own games and quizzes across the curriculum. Purple Mash comes with free home access which makes it perfect to seamlessly integrate learning at school and home. The perfect way to share all the learning with the wider school community is by making use of our blogs and digital Display Boards – these can be set for the whole school, class or individual groups.
We have a range of planning, tools, and applications to enable your teachers to make the most of using Purple Mash within school. We have mapped Purple Mash to the curriculum showing how it can be used to support and enhance teaching and learning across all subjects, and we've created a comprehensive scheme of work to support teachers in delivering the Computing Curriculum.
There are subject leader toolkits to help subject leaders make the most of Purple Mash within their subject, from action plans to surveys and draft policies. It has everything that a subject leader needs to get started at the beginning of the academic year.
To support staff further we have a variety of ways to develop their knowledge and confidence. Our training platform has 16 courses that can be completed online covering assessment, EYFS and online safety to name a few. We also run regular webinars throughout the year, and staff can also book a Mash Chat, great if you have a new teacher joining the school or if a teacher would like support using specific aspects of Purple Mash.
We’d love to see you at Bett 2022. If you’re planning a trip to the show, visit us at stand NE61 in the teaching and learning area, where you can see our latest updates, get product demos and more.
