Ada Lovelace Day celebrates the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). Held on the second Tuesday in October every year, this year it is celebrated on the 8th of October. In this blog we learn about Ada Lovelace and look at the many ways you can celebrate women in science with Purple Mash.

This year National Coding Week runs from 16th to 22nd September. There are a number of ways that schools can get involved: run a coding challenge for students, take part in the Digital skills Challenge or showcase how you are supporting coding in the school.
