Run an easy after-school Coding Club with Mash Club

Aug. 30, 2023

Save time and stress this year by using our Mash Club for your extra-curricular club. Mash Club is an after-school computing club aimed at KS2 students with 8 self-guided sessions, where your pupils will learn to code and blog.

What is included in Mash Club?

Mash Club includes 8 self-guided sessions - some of these could be spread over more than one club session if needed. Children are provided with an on-screen checklist of instructions to follow. These include images and screenshots so that children are able to easily see what they need to do. These on-screen instructions could be shown on a screen at the front of the class, or they can also be printed out. Most sessions also include an example so that children can see what they are aiming for by the end of their club time.

Inside the Mash Club folder, you'll also find a poster, and certificates, as well as a guide. There are also stickers and name cards: for each session that they attend, budding coders and bloggers receive a new sticker. Collect all 8 and they complete the picture on their ID card.
