#EduFootyAid events are charity football matches for teachers. The initiative is less than a year old but it's already attracted over 200 teachers from across the UK, and together we’ve raised over £10,000 to support Mind. Alongside fundraising #EduFootyAid promotes wellbeing, by getting teachers active and developing a sense of community beyond the school walls.

However, as it stands less than 5% of our players are female, which is particularly troubling as over 70% of UK teachers are women. #EduFootyAid games are mixed gender and always will be, but after speaking with our current female players we’ve decided to also launch all-female matches. We hope this will encourage more women to get involved and enjoy all the fun of #EduFootyAid.

All we need now is numbers! If you’re interested just use the button below to sign-up, it’s free and there’s no obligation to play on the day. Once we have 50 female players signed-up we’ll be able to confirm a fixture.

#EduFootyAid is a charity initiative and we rely on word of mouth to get our message out there. So, if you know a female teacher who enjoys football, please do let them know about #EduFootyAid. If you have any questions contact samuel@2simple.com.
