Ramadan is the most sacred month of the year for Muslims and celebrated during the 9th month of their calendar. Ramadan doesnt follow the western calendar and instead follows the Lunar calendar meaning the month can change each year. This year the celebration starts on Monday 12th April.

World Poetry Day is celebrated every year on the 21st March. One of the main objectives of the day is to support linguistic diversity through poetic expression and to give endangered languages the opportunity to be heard within their communities. Using Purple Mash, we have several resources you can use to explore poetry to celebrate World Poetry Day.

We are excited to announce a new tool within Purple Mash 2Survey. 2Survey can be used by both students and teachers for creating online surveys and compiling and analyzing the results.

Each month we will be highlighting a #MashoftheMonth, this will focus on a tool or application within Purple Mash and how it can be used within the classroom to support learning across the curriculum. International Womens Day falls on Monday 8th March. The day is about celebrating women and their achievements, whilst challenging stereotypes, bias, discrimination and perceptions.
