Having fun in the classroom is essential for good results and to foster a love of learning in young children. Mashcams is a hilarious way to get key information across without the child even realising they are learning valuable content and skills.

Children can insert their faces into a number of character templates to use as a basis for activities. So whether they are a historic figure like a gold-panner or if you are focussing on those who help us like a firefighter, doctor, nurse, catering services or zoo-keeper, your learner can make themselves part of the conversation!

Once they have made themselves a character, they will be able to complete any number of activities. It is especially useful in writing projects as the characters all have speech bubbles attached which can be used for writing exercises. Explaining what the character does, what they are famous for, or the challenges they faced in becoming famous or in their day-to-day jobs.

Students can even practise their oracy skills and record their voices in character. Whatever your theme is, or whichever learning area you are focussing on, there is space for a little fun with the Mashcam.

As we approach Christmas join in with the merriment and choose from a range of activities to create cards, wrapping paper, gift boxes, or letters from Santa, and become Santa! The Mashcam collection also has one of his elves, and Alladin, Cinderella and the Fairy Godmother – perfect to use for display as well as getting children to think about the characters.

Enjoy! And as always, if you have any questions or want to sign up please either email the TEAM or sign up with us HERE
