2Simple is an independent UK-based educational technology company founded in 1999 with a singular mission: to transform teaching and learning through innovative, accessible, and impactful software. At the heart of 2Simple is our founder and CEO, Nigel Canin, a former primary school teacher whose vision remains central to everything we do. Nigel’s passion for education and technology, along with talented software developers, inspired the creation of tools that simplify complex concepts and empower both teachers and learners.

From the very beginning, Nigel aimed to break down barriers to learning, helping educators tackle challenging concepts in intuitive and engaging ways. Whether it’s enabling children to paint and write on the same screen, visualizing how nets fold into 3D shapes, or seeing database data dynamically grouped and sorted, 2Simple’s software has always been designed to make learning inspiring, interactive, and easy to access.

Over two decades later, our core philosophy—providing simple tools with powerful learning outcomes—remains as relevant as ever.
